FIRST FLOOR DESCRIPTION

An ample center stair hall extends from the welcoming front door to the back wing, providing entry to a large parlor, formal and informal dining room. Each colorful, light-filled, room occupies a corner offering views in two directions. Enjoy the fanciful cook's kitchen in the wing with windows on three sides and a small dining table. A limestone floor, maple and soapstone counters and painted wood cabinets add to its unique character. Amenities include double sink, self-cleaning double convection ovens, 5 burner gas cook top, refrigerator/freezer/ice-maker and dishwasher. Step directly to a covered, south facing porch and sit at small dining table for a sunrise breakfast or sunset repast.

EXCURSIONS Windsurf off Stonington Point or Barn Island, or rent a skiff at Shaffer's Livery and troll to Watch Hill and Napatree Point, or just relax.

EXCURSIONS Kayak up the Mystic River, and stop at Old Mystic or go down to Ram Island and have lunch on the beach. Walk around Mystic.

SECOND FLOOR

The upstairs hall, decorated with handmade family quilts, offers entrance to four sunny corner bedrooms with great views. Each has twin beds and private tiled bath with shower or tub/shower. Step down several steps to the queen bedded room in the wing with vaulted ceilings and views in three directions. There is an adjacent private bath with tub/shower and separate spiral stair to the first floor. Nearby is a laundry room with full sized washer and dryer. Above all is the "lantern." This romantic bedroom at the top has a double bed, windows on four sides, and views from Sag Harbor, the Hamptons and Montauk on the tip of Long Island across Fishers Island and Watch Hill Point to Block Island.

Spacious second floor hallway, four twin-bedded rooms each with bathroom. 

EXCURSIONS Beaches- Esker Point, Mystic Community Center, Watch Hill, Misquamicut, Atlantic, Ocean Beach or Dunes Park.

EXCURSIONS Hike in one of the many Parks in the area or canoe the Mystic River or Pawcatuck River. Walk or bike along the river. Discover the Cemetery. Explore the waterfront.
